Club of the Month
Foothills 4WD Club
Formed in 1984 Foothills is a family oriented club. Although
we are based in the Gosnells area our membership is not
restricted to any specific region.
Activities include day runs, night runs, weekend camps and
extended trips.
Our extended trips have been a real highlight over the last
three years, including the Holland Track, the Canning Stock
Route and our “Bloody Long Trip” which encompassed the Anne
Beadell Highway, the Oodnadatta Track, the Birdsville Track
and the Strzelecki Track to mention a few. Total time taken
for this trip was about six weeks.
Other activities include the restoration of Well 3 on the
CSR and a contribution to the restoration of Well 19 on the
Murchison Stock Route (with Geraldton 4WD Club).
We meet at Hillside Farm in Martin on the first Tuesday of
each month at 7:30. Visitors are most welcome.
